Will do Spam89. M3 has 76 miles at the moment and I have a break in period. I will compare the two cars in due time. Although I think it will be unfair to the F as I did not have the performance package and the M has the competition option.

Yes, I crossed the shopped the Alfa Romeo Guilia ( not German)and M3. I decided on the M3 because it seems like the Alfa has some quality issues. That swayed me despite the discounts they are offering.
Now, the GS-F. Honestly, I don't like the styling of the GS-F. This is subjective so take it as it is.
Secondly, I prefer the size of the M over GS-F.
Third, the infotainment of the M is definitely better. When I first tried Apple carplay in our Audi A5, I was really impressed. The M having it only adds icing to the cake.
Lastly, there is a video on youtube where a stock GS-F was totally annihilated by a stock Competiton package M3. That was embarrassing for the F.

Goodness that USB blue (and Yas Marina + World Rally Blue on the BRZs) are just about the only blues that work for me, can't imagine switching to a darker color that won't pop as much!
I have a grey RCF and I still wonder if I'll switch to a sedan next and since I'm still wishing I went for a livelier color I imagine the YMB would work for me. Just tried Android Auto recently and other than the USB wiring needed, it's definitely icing to the cake.
What are you planning to do to the F8X to improve the sound? That Alfa would've been nice and I'm hesitant to believe that the later model years are significantly improved vs first MY in quality assurance.
