Default Taking the term "It's a buyer's market" to the extreme!

A 2015 RCF with just over 5k miles going for 43k?
Too good to be true or what?

Your thoughts before I post more info.

Thanks

I'm in the market and seeing similar pricing. '15 with 10-25k miles in the $42-47k range depending on options.

I think the RCF is the best used car deal out there right now. My 2015 was 47K with 17,000 miles. It is pretty loaded up with options like leather, ML sound, sunroof, but no carbon or TVD. Just make sure it has not been wrecked. That was my number one thing looking for mine, besides not being modded, wanted bone stock car.

The one I purchased is cleaner than I thought it was after some light paint correction I did myself. It looks like it had been driven through a mechanical car wash.

I have seen them as low as 44K in my area, Northern California.

I looked at a red '17. It was a bright sunny day and it looked amazing, but when you got closer, the top coat was spiderweb city. Simple fix, but odd they didn't correct that before listing. I was temped, but they want $62 and with clean '15s going for $45, I passed.

I also found a '17 with performance pack, fully loaded 5k miles on it for $51k. Insane. But it's Canadian. I can deal with import, but it doesn't sound like a simple solution to change nav and a/c to US. Dash can convert in the settings, the rest needs some type of dealer flash. Also, possibly warranty coverage issues.

Definitely not plausible. I bought mine (all options, TVD/carbon, molten pearl) with 8000 miles for $62,000 CAD ($51,000 US) and that was a great price considering what was available in the market. Granted, that was 7 months ago, still I would strongly doubt such a low mileage (even if it is a barebones model), will go for this much.

I didn't do the conversion, the salesman told me the US equivalent was around $51k. HERE is a link. Looks like they raised the price some, I think they had it listed for $64 last week. Still looks like a screaming hot deal.

Sorry, I was responding to the OP. Mine looks exactly like that one except that is a 2017 so the AVS is a plus and has only 5000 miles. I am sure the price can be negotiated down a few grand. I purchased mine back in Nov, 2017 so conversion rate has changed since then.

That is Bahrain. It is difficult to compare to market in the US or even Canada considering difference in inflation rate, commodity prices, depreciation, used market trends etc.

Besides, says nothing about the car's history (if it has been in an accident) or option packages (what is listed there is available in base model RCFs).

I check the local listings a lot, and the cheapest listing I've seen was about $46k with a clean history. Everything else in my area that is below $45k has been 3 owner or has an accident report. The past listings also had HID headlights instead of tri-beam.

It's definitely going that direction shortly though and it's a great buy at that price.

Its possible.

Most likely a salvage/theft/flood car or at least has an accident on the carfax, but I have seen plenty of clean 30k mile cars listed in the low 40s, even a few CPO.

Most cars listed over $50k seem to sit, most listed in the low to mid 40s seem to sell fast, so if it checks out, jump on it.

A Comprehensive CPO vehicle being sold by the exclusive Lexus dealer here in Bahrain. I'm guessing it's probably a demo car since it only has 5k on the clock.

Here's the car.
