Default Park Assist

Wondering if someone can help me...bought a new RCF 2 weeks back and still working out some of the systems...the park assist doesn’t seem to be great....I can get within 12 inches of my garage wall and the front still does not beep.....when I go to the menu and settings and Lexus parking assist, it only shows the two lines to the rear and nothing to the front so maybe I am not setting it up correctly...I am not seeing any videos on YouTube etc that can shed any additional info....guess I should have gotten more info when I bought it...anyone know how to make the assist feature work better? Thanks in advance!

Sounds a bit odd. Do you see the green 'P ))))' light in the gauge cluster? Look for a button which has the symbol 'P ))))' on it and turn it on. You should see the green light come up in the gauge cluster. Looks to me like it is turned off for you.

It should warn you of the side where the obstacle is getting too close. If it is front right side then it will show a object in the top right corner as it beeps.

It should be like this:

There's no sensor for direct front. This is a known drawback. Maybe placing something off centered of your parking space and hopefully that'll trigger it. I don't think you can adjust sensitivity of front corners.

Gotta put a can or a cone (something with a surface area greater than 10 square inches) to the 10 or 2'oclock positions. Or do the easy thing and back in.

Thanks guys. switch for sure is showing up on dash....it must be because I am driving head on....crazy that it doesn’t recognize this....at least I now know so won’t be waiting to hit a wall. Takes a bit of getting used to the length of the hood...anyway, would buy it again in a second....the sounds and power this puts out is unbelievable

Spot on. This is why I back in and have a
parking stop parking stop
to let me know when I am far enough back to clear the garage door.
