I installed an Apexi axle back on my 2017 IS350 about a month ago and it has calmed down a little bit but is still a beast and I’m debating whether or not to get rid of it since I daily drive my car due to the drone and loudness.

I know you guys have the V8. Not comparing engines.

Just reaching out to the RCF crowd as they apexi has been out for your cars for a long time and I figured some of you might’ve had it on your car for over a year now and those are the owners I’m targeting.

The engines may be different but the exhaust design and principles of development and materials used are very similar.

Please chime in if you’ve been running an apexi exhaust on your car for a while and if you noticed changes after several months.

in my experience a V6 will drone more than a V8 unless the 6 cylinder is a turbo. My car will drone going up a hill at a low speed. But its usually 3rd gear.

It isn't that it calmed down, it is that you are just getting acclimated to the sound Same thing with my exhaust...thought it was so loud when I first got it and now it is quiet...unless windows down in the parking deck or tunnel...haha.
