Default Headlight peeling & window weather stripping cracking

My RC-F is now a little over 2 years now. Anyone have issues with headlight clear coat peeling and door weather stripping cracking? I was going to check with dealer if they are under warranty but the service manager I deal with is on leave for 2 weeks.

It does not matter if your particular service advisor is on vacation or whatever. The Lexus dealership is still there and in full operation.

I would go ASAP and get taken care of.

Good luck and let us know what you find out.

I noticed your from the islands; therefore quick question:

Where does your car spend most of its time indoors or outdoors? This is important due to that HOT Island SUNSHINE...everybody loves to spend playing outside, especially in the ocean.

BECAUSE check out Lexus Basic Warranty Protocol:

Now go Play NICE everyone...

Yes car is park outside uncover. Never had these type of issue on any of my previous Lexus. (LS400, SC400, GS430, GS350) in same environment. First time I see the headlight peeling like this and weather stripping cracking. Most likely manufacturing issue. Need to wait until the service manager return. He is basically the head of the service advisor department. Don't want to deal with his subordinates.

While I agree the sun is causing these damages, I also believe this should not be happening just after two years. This is not normal imo. If Lexus IS selling cars in Guam and Hawaii, they should assume the cars will be parked outside after purchase.
