Default Wheel Weight Residue

So I recently had a tire replaced and the tire store had to remove some of the small metal weights for balancing on the inside of the wheel. However, there is some sticky left over residue from the old weights . Any suggestions on products that will clean or remove the residue. I hate the way it looks. Thanks in advance.

I used to work as a mechanic and I just used brake clean and a rag on it. It worked fine and didn't mess up the wheel.

Just be careful if your wheel is anodized.
