Default E85 and 91 octane blending

So Im in a post on a RC facebook page and dude is suggesting to blend 3 gallons of e85 with 13gallons of 91 octane for better performance.
anyone want to educate us on this "blending"?

I have heard the ISF and RCF respond differently. Would be cool to see some hard results on the RCF.

You could also try xylene with some marvel mystery oil to up the octane...

I'd stick to V-Power 93. Although ethanol has far less damaging effects on engines, due to fuel dilution occuring, so I like it from that perspective. If only the RC-F market were a bit bigger we could get some cool things going. A lot of my clients are GT-R power houses and it's sad how many options they have and how few we do. I thought I remembered the timing was quite advanced compared to the RC-F but I never spend time studying the RC-F because there's not much of a market for it.

SmurFPwr I couldn't help to notice the 500whp+ in your details. Would love to hear you or anyone else is able to get the rc-f to this kind of power without going forced induction..?

I think with full headers and exhaust and a tune, guys are at what, 450whp? A little bit of work to the motor and you can pull that 50hp.

nitrous

however I think its time to go to a supercharger setup after my new home is finished. I hate not having the bottle in the car when I need it or being worried about having it in a hot car in the peak of summer

Well you can always run E15 safely on the RC-F, better than E10 i suppose, seems like much of a hassle though to blend.

not sure what you running 100 octane has anything to do with blending.........

blended some E15, will be testing the octane rating this week to see what it comes back with and I'll see how much of a hit the energy took.

Ive read articles that state mixing is horribly bad for the motor. I run 100 at the track and the car loves it ( with the tune ). Any leaded gas ( for those catless and tuned ) would somewhat cause issues with injectors due to lubricity. I run a 1/2 can of Seafoam each oil change and/or BG MOA. I was told to add a few drops of ATF or some "lube " called marvel mystery oil to prevent the injector stickiness. Mixing on a non-flex fuel car causes stress on the fuel system, the seals, the injectors, etc. I'm not knocking it, yet I haven't read anything that says its " awesome! "

Sub'd and following.....just my 2 cents
