Are there any reputable shops that can do Installs and Tunes besides RR?

RR racing has shops that are closely associated with them. I know in San Diego WOW auto works with them and tune.

Reason, I have not bought the kit. I don't trust any tuners out this way or at least ones that have tuned RCFs.

well you shouldn't trust any one that says that have tuned an RCF unless it is RR Racing because no one other than them actually has LOL

Well that confirms that...lol. Looks like the Supercharger mod will have to be out on the backburner until someone trained by RR tunes out here. Sucks for us.

RR tune is right around the corner from me! They are short in staff due to a loss of a member so it is hard to get a date to install anything.

I so want to install this on my car but I am pretty sure that it is not going to be CARB legal, and since I live in CA I am screwed. I would love to have all of the extra torque on tap.

You can still get it
You don't get your car inspected every year for smog so you will be fine

I believe the inspection is every 3 years. However, that is still unacceptable.

In California, after your first smog check, you have to get your car inspected every two years. On top of that, if I were to ever be pulled over for speeding and an officer opened my hood I would immediately be ticketed for CARB violations and forced to prematurely remove it. I am sure that the kit is not something that I want to continuously bolt on and off every two years or less.

Can't you just pay someone a little extra money for your inspection sticker?

I could if I knew anyone willing to do it, but the problem with that is my hookup leaves, or the shop gets caught and closes, then I am back at square one.
