Default Removing the shark fin roof antenna

Does anyone know exactly how to remove it? Do i have to drop the headliner or can i get to the bolt by removing the rear dome light ? I want to wrap my roof, spoiler and rear diffuser with carbon fiber wrap. It doesn't look hard at all using knife less tape but i feel like if i try and drop that headliner i am going to snap a clip or something. I may just skip the roof unless the bolt is right under the rear dome light.

Wanted to wrap my roof as well and this local place had already wrapped a RC F. They need to remove the inside rear panels, rear seats, and headliner just to get to the shark fin. Labor alone was $300. I passed.

I could just cut around it and tuck it under the shark fin but i want the shark fin to be wrapped also. i think it will look more oem if wrapped. I guess i may just have to try and loosen the headliner . Just wish i could find a tutorial or someone who's done it

There's a sharkfin carbon fiber overlay in Ebay. It matches OEM quality but weave direction matches aftermarket parts. You can probably request to match the OEM weave direction. The only thing is that will it match your carbon fiber wrap.

I wrapped my roof gloss black with the shark fin also wrapped. The installer removed the rear dome light and unscrewed the fin. He said the screw was extremely tight to undo but he got it.

Thanks for all the info this helps a lot. So at least i know it can be unbolted threw the dome light. And if i cant get it i can always order the overlay off ebay and try and find a wrap that matches it if i choose to not remove it. Hopefully this knifeless tape will work as well for me as i seen on youtube
