Default Cerakote My GT Haus Meisterschaft?

So the title says it all. I'm not too fond of those big shiny cans under my rear end. I have black rims coming and a chrome delete. So I'm thinking of painting the cans black with this stuff:

https://www.cerakotehightemp.com/fin...glacier-black/

But I've never painted a stainless steel exhaust before, and I've never done a ceramic coating at all.

1) Would it be advised to scuff the surface to allow it to adhere better? (sand paper, scotch brite, etc..)
2) Would the 4 oz. be enough to do 4 tips and the rear of the cans, or should I get the 16 oz.?
3) Would you even consider doing this to your Meisterschaft?

Edit: I may only coat the back of the cans and leave the tips alone. I haven't completely decided yet.

awesome exhaust you got.

I liked what member JT2MA71 did with his. something that can be removable later. If you do tips, you need some big tips like the ones on the apexi.

Although mine are Ti, probably has the same characteristics as SS when it comes to paint adhesion. I just cleaned them really good with acetone, then sprayed with just high temp engine enamel (low gloss). The heat will bake the paint on but will still be easy to remove with solvent.

I may do that instead. Being able to remove the black without having damage to the exhaust is appealing to me. If I were to sell the exhaust later I am worried that it might affect the resale value if they are permanently painted black, or scuffed up under the coating. (I "might" upgrade to the full Novel system later, but that's a big maybe)

As far as tips, I have the oval tips. But I'm thinking of leaving them alone.

So just use something like this one the cans?

Thanks

Honestly, a good high temp flat black paint will work. Once done, you really would have to intentionally try to remove it for it to come off
