Thumbs up Pictures of black RCF with black wheels

Hey everyone,

I'm curious if there are any pictures out there of a black RCF with black wheels (painted). I have an Obsidian black RCF with the split 10 spoke wheels from lexus. I think it looks great, but would be curious as to how a black wheel would look on the car (particularly painted stock wheel).

I've only seen one RCF on this site in the picture thread with the black on black look, and a couple other on google but not great pictures. Never got to see a black RCF of painted stock wheels sadly.

Thanks everyone

I have a custom set of satin black rims on order for my Infrared. Not black on black, obviously, but it may give you a closer idea. Custom finish time is 4 weeks though, and I just ordered them over the weekend. Send me a PM with your direct email and I'll send you some pics when I finally get them if you are interested.

I like those 3 piece (real or faux?) "BBS" appearing wheels shown first!

what size ultra did you get? it won't look similar to that at all if they are 19s. what i don't like about the ultra is that if you get them in 19s , they look like 18 inch style with the spoke size and concave. 20 inch ultras look good though.

They are 19". You are referring to the 19's with FACE2. It looks almost flat (FACE1 is completely flat). Offset determines the concavity because they need clearance over the brakes.

My fronts have FACE3, which should look the same as those fronts. My rears are FACE4, which should look the same as those rears (But probably not quite that deep in the rear, same concavity though).

FACE3

FACE4

I'm very familiar with Te37 having so many sets in my life on many different cars. let me explain and elaborate for you a bit...

here is 19x9.5 +35 and 19x10.5+32, which is probably what you have that fits the rc-f. which means face 3 front and face 4 rear.

rear face 4

front face 3

overall pic

as you can see, it looks like 18s the way the spokes are designed. this is why i stayed away from the ultras .

Thanks for the pics. Other wheels look great too but for the RCF I seem to be more of a fan of the extra spokes haha

haha yeah the blue looks great but it's so hard to compete with how evil a black car can look. USB with black accenting looks pretty amazing though

It looks fine to me, except they aren't on a black car. Plus, I can drive with peace of mind that my rims are some of the strongest/lightest on the market. YMMV.

But then again, I don't care about the rubber band look. Performance > Aesthetics. That's the way I've always been.

Anyone have any other angles of the black RCF with the black 6 spokes? Would like to see other angles.

Agreed. Meatier tires are functional and to me also look 10X better than a stretched setup.

who is talking about rubber band tires? and what does a blue car have to do with anything? I was simply telling you your ultras won't look like the OG te37 set up thats posted.
