Default TRD JAPAN 2015-2016 RC/RC-F Door Stabilizer Kit

This parts fits the following vehicles:

2015-2016 RC 300h
2016 RC 200t

New feature – an industry first (patent pending)

The built-in sliding mechanism automatically adjusts the gap to zero. Designed to be easy to install, yet maintains a strong visual presence.

Looks good and affordable also. Get one and let us know how it works.
Looks like it makes sense to help stiffen the body structure. Is it really a TRD part?

I'd be all over this! Very cool part that's very inexpensive. It makes sense and looks good and very OEM'ish!

This stiffens the side of the car for lateral movement. Because the RC is such a big coupe with long doors.....this part stiffens the connection of the door to the jam to aid in stiffening the car laterally....which can assist in quickening the steering response of the car by eliminating flex in that area....

No band wagon here but I hear if you put one on the trunk lid too it shaves seconds off your lap times and you pickup 2 mpg.... lol

I've kept my eye on this potential upgrade for quite a while when I saw it being applied to the FT86 twins (FRS/BRZ) but I wasn't sure if these TRD door stabilizers were ever compatible with any of the Lexus models.

Did you find a specific model version of the TRD door stabilizers for the RC or is it designed to be a universal fit?

Here's a good video rundown of how the TRD door stabilizers help improve rigidity of the chassis.

This is kinda cool and in theory makes sense. Would like to see an actual lap time comparison of some sort.
