Resonator Delete (with Videos)
I found a source local ti get the SS pipping.
Didnt trust midas to source good materials.
Dont expect a huge change in sound. I was maybe like a 10nor 20percent increase of growl. Borla or other after market cat backs do a far better job of opening her up

Thanks for the input man. Yea The sound im looking for is a lil more growl in the lower speeds in the city and back to stock sound at higher speeds since my commute is mostly on the highway. Im hoping a res delete would fix that.
Just did the resonator delete $100/pipe, good price at local shop; Thoughts
- Again, no one knows what this car is??? lots of puzzled looks, so the 'edgier' sound has brought it some more attention and questions from passersby/and drivers at lights. Which is nice.
- Technician had never seen 1 and thought it was a funky Hybrid
and was extremely surprised and pleased when he started it. - Startup a little crisper, raspy.
- Once it's warmed up, I've noticed that the tone is grumpier at lights and idle.
- Under light/med/heavy acceleration, much more noticeable growl...lot more head turners for sure.
- Drone: not noticeable or present
- No lights on dash
- Overall, for $200, pleasant surprise and 'just' enough to feel and sound right.
for those doing the resonator delete, are the shops using stainless steel or aluminum as the replacement pipe.
i called around to a few shops and they said they do not use stainless steel as it can't be bent rather they use aluminized steel. just want to make sure its not a mickey mouse job.

^^^^Aluminized steel is OK, and is used for OEM exhaust systems. You're in Southern Cal, so corrosion should not be an issue for you. With regards to bends - Be Sure the shop you choose does mandrel bending not crush bending.
