From what I can gather, blinking means it is working in all modes except red. None of my colors blink. Maybe it is working and I just expected a more pronounced difference based on the feedback in this post?

Any suggestions?
Theres a red dot market to indicate the right way to connect as it will both ways. If installed the wrong way though, you'll get warning lights, VSC etc so you'll need to disconnect the battery and reinstall so i dont think hardware. You got power but certain modes not flashing so its definitely calibration. If not done 100% by the steps, it will power but not function right.

Red is only 1 throttle mode and other throttle modes will not flash. Only boost modes flash so put in in purple, floor it where you can and look for the flash. To be honest, you wont even need to look at the flash, for me it was definitely noticeable. Not power wise and its not a power mod but the throttle response is chalk and cheese (to me anyway).

Try to recalibrate (ive replied to someone else earlier with step by step in case you missed 1 step). They are very reliable units so doubt its the controller itself.

Press ignition twice but dont turn on the engine. Just have the car electrics working. The apexi button should be flashing white
2. Press the bottom of the switch and hold it until it turns blue
3. once you release the button it will go from blue to flashing whtie again
4. depress the accelerator pedal all the way and press the top of the button at the same time until it turns red
5. Once red, release the button and accelerator pedal
6. Fingers crossed there will be no more flashing on the button meaning youre good to go

FYI for anyone who wants it always on....
Press and hold top of the button whilst pressing push start to acc then ign. My button flashed white 4 times. Tested it and it remains in boost purple mode which is what I'm using.
Weird thing is instructions says press bottom of the button and it will flash twice. For me it flashed 4 times but didn't remain on so experimented the other way and success.
calibrated it correctly, lights blink, but I still don't notice much of a difference. Really don't understand what I'm doing wrong

If the light is blinking, for instance in Purple mode when you modulate the pedal, it's working. What it's doing is (for a short duration) cracking the throttle open wider than you actually moved the pedal (scaling) to give you a peppier response than you could normally get out of the pedal sensor with your foot. And that's all it does. Red mode just takes the linear actuation and applies an aggressive curve to 100%, green mode takes a gentle approach and down-modulates the input to 100%.

If you run in Purple mode the light will blink as long as you're making larger than minute changes to the pedal angle. If you pick a position and hold it, the modulator will time out and bring the throttle back to 1:1 modulation.

Honestly the easiest way to know you calibrated it correctly is put it in Dark Blue, put the car in Eco, then drive. Push the pedal to the floor and enjoy the slowness. Which, by the way, will keep the car under 50% throttle or so for several seconds so even if you're on the interstate you won't get a sudden surge in power for passing

I definitely feel the difference between modes, and yeah it blinks, just isn't as sensitive as others have said it is. I thought if i even gently tapped the gas it would accelerate

What sort of video are you looking for? The actual install process or the finished product in action?

Ive never come across a video, but this guy from the UK Lexus forums has a detailed pic by pic and write up about how to install it. Relatively straight forward

As Suburbazin has mentioned, Eco mode is definitely noticeable to the point it can be dangerous if you forget its on. i.e. Going quick through an intersection to get not get caught out and forgetting the acceleration is dulled down. Great for rain and when your tyres arent the best though, helps alot lol.

Even half throttle and pressing the red mode, you can feel the throttle liven up instantly. Its not a miracle device that adds more power as such but you can definitely feel its responsiveness, well i could. WOT gotta love the purple, definitely kicks down hard and agressively especially with Sports mode on too.

My controller has run into an issue over the past several days- it just won't stay calibrated. I'll have it on, turn off the car, add gas, turn the car back on and...poof. White light of amnesia. It's not hard to recalibrate, just super annoying. Sometimes when it goes white at startup it starts flashing rapidly, other times, just solid. Either way have to turn the car off, let it time out, then recal.

Also, if I idle for an extended time period, it gets amnesia.

Somebody ought to take him up on this, I LOVE Mine! It doesn't add any extra HP but makes a BIG Difference in the cars acceleration, even if you're at a red light & not paying attention & leave when it turns green it's very Easy to spin out. The car is sooooooooo much more Jumpy & Jerky if you're not careful (I usually keep mine in Purple Mode, it & Red are my favorites). I was like most everybody else before I bought mine thinking the same things, but I promise you it makes a Huge difference!

You sure maybe loose / poor connection somewhere, especially if its forgetting its setting. Would of just set maybe not calibrating correctly but if its resetting whilst idling, that definitely isnt right.
Have you retraced the install, checked all connections, pin connection around the right way. Normally you'd get check VSC etc if the conneciton is back to front but could be somewhere else along the install

100% definitely noticeable. Mine always stays on now, on start up its automatically on purple. Sometimes red which i feel may be perkier in manual mode but purple definitely for auto mode. Even the blue or is it green, kills the response in the wet, great as my tyres are on the way out so easier to manage
