Aloha all,

Me, being new to the Carbon Fiber world, what products would you recommend to seal and protect the Carbon Fiber parts?

*On a side note, would you happen to know if the Carbon Fiber roof and spoiler are clear coated from the factory?

Thank you very much for your time!

My detailer coated my CF (and all the paint) with Ceramic Pro.
He suggested using 50% H2O and 50% Alcohol mix to do quick detailer cleaning.

You can clearly see it's clear-coated, but since the manual says it's not 'scratch resistant' (like the paint), probably not that tough. The good news is it's not not facing forward, so less vulnerable than a spoiler or such. But we can still get bouncing rocks hit the roof and chip it. Hopefully it won't be much of a problem. And yes, we can't go wild with polishes. I'll only use carnauba wax on it. Still have to do the first wax, but need to wash it first since I was caught in a shower last time I drove it. Plus wheels are absolutely nasty with brake dust. Will seriously think about changing the pads for the ceramic ones if the dust doesn't subside. And I've hardly used the brakes so far. Ridiculous.

I'd suggest putting a clear vinyl wrap over it personally...... I think they even make a UV protectant version.
