I put 4K on my RCF since my last oil change. I used Mobile one. I checked a couple of weeks ago and zero change in oil level. I have been watching as I expect the car to burn some oil. I will change the oil at 5K. My Subaru WRX STI warned it could burn some oil in the manual, my last sports car.

I see but do you drive the car aggressively? I was told that was you drive the car at a high rate overtime it’s bound to burn some oil. I’ve been driving the car very aggressive almost everyday.

I drive my car, as just a car, a lot. I even use Eco mode when on the freeway. I would say 75% of my driving is just a more normal driving. I still get on it every time I can though.

The other 25% is driving hard in the canyons and back roads of California. It gets flogged especially in the summer heat.

I never track it.

If you flog the car, it will burn oil.

My car doesn't burn oil when I'm driving it like a normal person in eco mode as my AOS doesn't catch anything. When I flog it during drive club where we regularly hit 160mph and were in high revs the entire time going through the mountain roads, I'll definitely have a some oil in the AOS by the end of the day.

I just emptied it and I'm doing drive club tomorrow. I'll be sure to check the AOS afterwards

No never noticed it. Mine has only 10,000 miles so far, though.

Burns a little if I shift at almost redline often and do the rev match down shifts. All of the above are music to my ears. I change my oil at around 5K anyway and I check my oil levels often and never dropped below the bottom mark on the dip stick....

My previous MB SLK55 AMG HARDTOP CONVERTIBLE was the same thing if I drive it aggressively.
