Hello, I'm curious about what the turn signals on the new RC will look like. Does anyone know? I've been going through all the reviews on YouTube, but I haven't seen any videos which show the turn signals.

Here are my guesses:

Front Turn Signals

I am pretty sure that the front turn signals will be LEDs in the same shape as the daytime running LEDs. If you look closely at front DRLs on the RC, you can see a yellow line above the daytime running LEDs, which is probably where the turn signals are.

Also, on the Lexus NX, the turn signals are integrated with the DRLs, so it makes sense that the RC would follow suit.

Rear Turn Signals

I haven't seen a single video of the RC with its turn signals on, but judging by pictures, it looks like the rear turn signals will be just inside where the break lights curve at a sharp angle. The big question for me is: are the rear turn signals LEDs?

I know this sounds crazy, but whether the turn signals are LEDs is my only concern with this car. I know most people don't really care, but I really like the look of LED turn signals, and I'm hoping the rear turn signals are LEDs.

The rears will either be an amber bulb again or an LED..

Anyone know if the rear turn signals will be LED?

I found a video showing the rear turn signals; they look like LED's, but it's hard to see clearly. Skip to (0:28) to see the rear turn signals.

Update: Front turn signal does look like it is almost certainly LED. The DRL appears to remain full illuminated while turn signal is engaged:

Darn, looks like you're right. I was really hoping for an LED turn signal in the rear, just like the Lexus LS has. Oh well.

They've got to leave a few little tweaks for the 2016 refresh. You'll get your LED rear turn signals then.

Rear Turn Signal Amber Bulb - CONFIRMED





Reverse Light looks to be a bulb as well...

I can confirm the reverse lights are standard bulbs, size: 921. I changed them out to 6000k LEDs already to match the license plate leds
