2019 RCF apple car play?
Hi so I finally got myself a 2019 RCF. Have only driven it for a few hours but so far I’m loving the feel I get out of it. It’s a perfect blend of luxury and sportiness for me.
However, I realised although the infotainment screen is updated, but I don’t think it’s got apple car play. Is there a way to get it through software update like on my 2018 LC500? Or do I have to go aftermarket. If so, any suggestions?

According to the 2019 Brochure, the RC has Apple CarPlay. The 2019 RCF Brochure doesn't mention it

Having owned it for about 8 months, here are the good and bads:
g1: It is very well put together, material used in the cabin are of the highest quality. Everything feels super solid
g2: The side profile and rear of the car is stunning. I don't like the front end that much though, I prefer the is500 front-end to it.
g3: It sounds amazing, better than the is500 or rcf. Both intake and exhaust sounds really good.
g4: It is relatively comfortable and quiet, especially comparing to sports cars from other brands. But if you see it as a GT car, it's not that special (Bentley, for example, feels more premium when driving)
b1: It is very impractical, no rear seat space, no boot space, heck it's even only got 1 cup holder! (that tells you something)
b2: It is very wide, and you can feel it. I find it not as nimble and fun on spirited driving.
b3: The lack of communcation through steering wheels and the seats. I guess the high level of isolation is what lexus wants for a GT car. But I found it to be numbing and unfun.
b4: It is too soft. I heard ppl say the 2018 model has the stiffest suspension, but still I think it's too soft even in sport mode.
Overall, I think it's great value buying used. You should give it a try. However, it is not for me. If buying new, for the price, I would rather get a used 992 911.

I think it's because the RC got the facelift here 1 year ealier than RCF.

Thank you for the insights! It makes me feel better about buying the RC F, which I bought several weeks ago(used 2015 model).
I also have a 2001 Corvette. I really like it, but with its age combined with GM poor quality, I feel like I will always be fixing something on it.
Sorry I wasnt any help on Apple Car Play. I'm still trying to figure out the basic settings on my new ride! LOL
