Default ‘Affordable’ wheel thread

Okay, one guy’s idea of affordable is another guy’s $2,500 wheel (each) but...

I have a number of projects, pulling my play money in different directions.
I’ve seen a few staggered wheel sets I like but they seem to hover around the $2k a set as a starting point.

Anyone found any nice RC wheels for closer to the $1k rather than the $2k?

By the time I add tires and monitors, I can’t see much change from $3k+ with my current objects of desire. It would be great to get that closer to $2k.

I’ve bought used in the past for winter tires and often regretted it - light buckles, porous etc. so that is more of a secondary source.

I’m open to 19s or 20s.

What have you found, considered or got your eye on?

I bought a staggered set of 20" Niche Methos from Discount Tire with Nitto Invo tires for $2300 new. If you find something online you can go to them and they will typically beat the price.

Thanks for the heads up on Niche wheels - they seem like a good trade off between good looks and affordability.

I quite like their Technica wheel. A bit Lambo like, but quite shapely.

Dang, expensive taste rides again!
looks like the Technica model would be around $5k for an RC350 - before I add tires!

will look at some other of their offerings!

We have some pretty decently priced sets. Send us a DM, we can work something out. Always remember you get what you pay for, so do your due diligence before purchasing any set of wheels.

I was always a fan of the BD-8s. I would have bought those instead of the Niche but there was a six week back order and I am inpatient.

These were available from Lexus. I don't remember the price, but iirc they were under $800 total.
Like so many things, depends on what you think is "nice"

Understandable. I think a majority of us would rather have it right way than wait even if it isn't our first choice lol

Hopefully on your next set, we can get you on some Blaque Diamonds!

PLEASE post some photos of your car with these Niche Wheels? I'm currently looking at the very same -but going back to staggered 19s instead!
**Which means these 20" Ace Alloy "Black Chromes" will be going into the Marketplace soon!**

Much appreciated!
Why change? Because living in this area is a brutal slalom course of potholes! Dented the right front so bad it sliced sidewall of brand new Michelin PS 4S, causing me to buy a brand new wheel n tire. I'm done w 20s but cannot find any staggered 19s to save my life! Just found out straight from Niche that those killer Methos will NOT clear calipers on RCF. The "Drop Center" is too small. I'm so pissed right now and despise these stock wheels I'm stuck running! WTF Over!

I hear that, back to 19's on my supercharged RC too. Just more confidence and comfort...honestly 19" wheels looks big enough and allow the car to sit lower too which looks better imo. Sucks about the 4S getting damaged. My new set of wheels have these tires and they are unbelievable so far. Good luck with your search.

What set of 19" wheels did you go with?
