RC350 Tune (RR Racing)
Thinking about getting the RR-Racing tune for the RC350. It seems only 1 other person on the forum has responded saying that they actually installed the tune... Looking for others who have done it. Also, does the 7200rpm rev limit increase only happen in manual mode with TC off? What about Sport+ mode? Does it give better throttle response? I talked to RR-Racing on the phone, but I would like user feedback as well. Thanks

I'm planning on getting this same tune here in the next few weeks. I'm also interested in some user feedback.

I have the tune installed on my 2015 RC350 F Sport, I live near RR Racing Headquarters so I just brought it in to their shop (saved $100). 0-60 feels slightly better but not much different to be honest. If you're getting the tune to fix the sluggish 0-60 of our cars you'll be disappointed. However during highway pulls you definitely notice the difference. However I did get a Takeda DRY Cold Air Intake installed on the same day as I got the tune so I'm unsure how much of a difference is from the tune and how much is from the intake. You don't need TC off and Manual mode to have 7200rpm redline, I usually drive in automatic mode and it shifts just fine. However sometimes it will shift early at around ~7000rpm.

I have the tune as well, with PPE headers, and full exhaust. As stated above 0-60 times are barely improved with my setup, the car is too heavy. It does feel like there's more power though once the car is moving. The car shifts at 7200 in any mode.

how much did you pay for the headers and you think it's worth it? also did the exhaust note go much higher and does it drone?

the tune is worth it for the rev limiter alone, but i have it on with CAI , Ark exhaust........it does seem a bit quicker on the low end but when you push it to redline the car screams
when in auto if you floor it sometimes itll bounce off redline at 7200rpm for like a quick sec then shift up and youll hear it in your exhaust especially when it backfires

The tune is definitely worth it. It was one of the first mods I got on the car after the header, exhaust and cold air intake. It won't give you any crazy power, but the car definitely feels more alive

And even IF you could edge out an F car, with the price of the rc350 and everything you just listed, you can buy 2 lightly used RCFs...so the trade off definitely isn't there. Or just buy an RCF, super charge it, still be wayyyy cheaper than the above mentioned setup, and wayy faster.
But, we'll wait on your videos for now....
