Hi everyone,

while vacuuming my car, I raised the seat while it's in the forward position and the headrest crushed the sun visor mirror. Lexus says the whole visor needs to be replaced!

I'm wo dering if I can replace just the mirror. Anyone have attempted this or knows if it can be done?

I do not think that the mirror can be replaced. The mirror in my 2015 RC cracked in 2017 - cause unknown. I mentioned it when in for service and the dealership replaced the visor under warranty.
If you want to buy the visor and replace it yourself, I would order the new visor. Very often it is easy to determine from the entire part how it attaches to the car. If you can't tell from examining the part, ask the parts manager or the service manager. If it's one of those things that requires a special tool, you may have to have a Lexus service department do it.
