I was just joking around.
My real comment is that I have had illuminated door sills on some of my Lexus cars (SC430 and RX350), and thought they looked luxurious and elegant, and I was very disappointed to see that they were not standard on the RC. If I had to replace mine, I would probably get the illuminated ones, but have never wanted to spend the money just for that.

I am also looking for a replacement for the plate sill. The dent is the first thing i see when i open the door and is getting annoying lol. Please let me know if you found a site. Thanks

You don't need to get two or the illuminated ones if you dont want to. Use lexus parts now for factory part searches...its quite easy.
