Default Bird Poop etching on Clear Coat

I purchased my Ultrasonic Mica Blue in March, its lived in the garage 95% of the time when not in use.

I started to notice that small bird droppings are leaving etchings in to my clear coat, I even have my car coated with a Ceramic Pro Coating. I was just wondering if anyone else has this issue or if maybe my coating sucks? It was installed by a well recommended shop.

if it has ceramic coating applied it is not etched into the clear. it is etched into the coating. take it back to the shop that did it and have them repair that area. they will have to strip that section and make sure it didn't eat thru to the clear. then reapply. or, you can buff it out yourself but it will probably cut the ceramic coating off in that spot.

Definitely not in the clear if you have had a professional ceramic coat of any 'level' done in the last 3 years. I would give the same advice as 2017FSport to take it back to shop that did it to start. At the very least, if they are professional, they can use paint meter to understand exactly how much of each layer is damaged and take the appropriate actions to minimize the repair and cost to you.
