2015 RC 350 F sport
Could you good people tell me how many miles to expect out of the original tires on my modestly driven 2015 RC 350 F sport? And recommend an equal to or better replacement tire? Many thanks in advance. ECJ

I have a 2015 that I bought used last year with 13K miles on it. It still had the original tires on it from when it was brand new. It has the Bridgestone Potenza re050A tires. I just rolled 39K miles this morning on the same tires...but those tires are done! Putting new ones on this Saturday. The rears are betting really low on tread and the fronts are cupped a little bit.
That being said. Everyone's driving style is different. Some keep their car in sport mode. Other keep it in regular or eco mode. I drive 100 miles round trip a day to and from work. 95% is all highway. I tend to leave my car in eco mode.

Being that the tires are only 3 years max 4 years old, it would be prudent to check the current condition and tread left instead of basing off the odometer.
Depending on the brand of tires and the previous owners driving habits, it can go in either extremes. Check the specs on the current tire and you should be able to find the wearability.
If the remaining treads are substantial and the wearability is low...I would keep.
if the remaining treads are questionable and the wearability is high...I would replace very soon.
if the general condition of the tire shows any signs such as low tread, dry cracking on sidewalls, bubble/bulge or uneven wear...I would replace right away.
Hope that helps.

I have about 29k on my 2015 and the tires will get me to the winter, possibly through it which is what I'm hoping for then I'll buy a nice set of summer tires. As others said looking at them is the the only real way to determine the life left but I'd say once you get to 30k you got your moneys worth from them.

I am at 70%+ of the Michelin PSS that come with the AWD version of this car at 23K miles. I also have Michelin PSS summer tires on my rims which are at above 80%+ life. I generally swap the wheels depending on temperature roughly twice a year at 6 month intervals. I've personally had nothing but amazing experiences with Michelin in terms of logevity/quality and the RC doesn't seem to be an exception. Hope this helps!
