Default aftermarket front rotor???

What are some brands for after market front rotors? Not looking to spend a lot just something good enough that's cheaper than OEM but good quality.

I would think that brakes are not the place to go cheap. If I were going to replace the rotors on a heavy, expensive luxury car, I would look for something at least as good if not better than the original equipment.

I was thinking of something like r1 rotors, but they have not released the f sport. They're prices are great for aftermarket and I have had them on G35.

The price is great and cheaper than OEM. Looking around like 400-600 for a pair of front rotors......I was thinking OEM was like $800????

Are you already due to replace your rotors? Can they not be machined?

ive been having the weirdest problem.......

a while back like a few months after i had bought the car the OEM brake dust was way to bad that I decided to change to i think it was the wagner thermo ceramic brakes or some brand that someone on this forum recommended

after i changed it out after like 3-4 weeks in occasionally i would get a squeak noise from the brakes.....than as the weeks when on it became more frequent.....so i thought maybe i got bad brakes and decided to go with the stoptech brand of ceramics and had the rotors shaved

now after this a few weeks went by with no problems......then the squeal came back and it started to get more and more worse......now i changed back to OEM and those are even more worse

so every time i come to a stop under like 5mph when i try to apply the brakes at least 80% it squeals and its loud to if someone was outside the car next to it it hurts the ears a bit

now im clueless as to how this happend and i'd rather not a shop tell me they cant figure whats wrong with it and recommend to change everything out anyways

so before it only started if the car had been siting for a while it would squeal but once it heated up seemed fine......now it seems like it doesn't matter it squeals under lower speeds

also i did do the braking in process on all the pads and nothing has helped and had the rotors shaved twice within a year so now im like **** it just going to change out rotor and pads one more time before i either take it to a mechanic or dealership to look into the problem.......

some mods i have are wheel spacers, dropped on srs springs, sway bar......but **** none of that should be effecting it

I think he means "affecting it."

Took our RC in for an oil change on Wednesday and was advised out brake pads up front were very worn and low. I'm thinking great they want to rob us for some OEM pads, but our service advisor says there's a service bulletin about the front rotors on the RC chattering or squeaking, which we have never experienced. Supposedly related to the fact they're 2 piece rotors. So they replaced both front rotors for brand new 1 piece rotors and threw in a brand new set of brake pads. Score! So inquire about this. Always love free stuff. Btw we have 38k on the odometer.

Good to know....though I am dying to replace the OEM pads when they run low enough to something after market which sheds less dust, I still prefer FREE lol. Thanks for the good input! I wonder if my rotors on my 2015 are the 1 or 2 piece when I first bought it.

i posted this on another post TSIB BR1611.
Someone else pulled up the PDF of it and attached the link. Here it is. It says it doesn't not apply to AWD models. Hopefully yours is not.
