Default Anyone ever paint their stock rc350 f-sport wheels?

I just got a set for my is350. I want to paint the polished aluminum black since it's a tad curb rashed. Any suggestions?

The answer to your first question is: one guy probably painted his wheels a long time ago and it turned out so bad that nobody has ever done it since.
As for suggestions, here's mine (at no charge): take them to a wheel specialist - this is a shop that will smooth out the curb rash and then powder coat all or any part of the wheel that you want, with any color and finish that you want. These shops usually also powder coat calipers, which can be a nice touch on a black car. The result is indistinguishable from a new wheel.
