With aftermarket coils you only lose the dampening adjustment (AVS), everything else will function as normal. J5 actually has a coilover system that is compatible with the AVS if you want to go that route

J5 went out of business as far as I can tell. My long term review of the coil overs is that they are garbage. I really wish I would have gone for another option. I will likely install RR coil overs this coming summer.

When I had my RCF, I contacted Mike at Figs Engineering and he said he could make custom coilovers that would work with the AVS system. Never got a chance to follow up since I sold it shortly after that but it may be worth an inquiry if you want to retain the AVS functionality.

For those not looking to retain the AVS, has anyone gone with KWv3's?

RC350. I see KW's have an option for our cars, so just wondering if anyone else has gone this route.

RR racing offers the Penske coils but is currently working on developing a new set which is lower cost for the masses..

Hi Rafi (or anyone with the knowledge/ current coilovers users),

Does the RRRacing coilovers work with the avs system?
Researching for my RC300 awd.

Thanks

Our Coilovers (and Penskes) would replace the AVS system. We offer custom spring rates and adjustable rebound with our R&T Coilovers.

Thanks for the quick response!
I really do want to keep the AVS functionality...
