Default About to buy an exhaust. Thoughts?

Hey guys,

I am trying to buy an exhaust for my RC 350 base (Nebula Gray with tan interior) in the next week or so. I have the AWD drive model. I've been looking at the Tanabe and the Joe Z axlebacks in particular. I guess I'm just looking for some second opinions. What do you guys think I should get? Are there any better options out here?

Should be another 2-3 months.

Do a muffler delete first. It sounds amazing.

If you're looking for a nice quad tip setup the ARK look great. I personally went with the Lexus F Sport performance exhaust (and matching diffuser). It has a clean, deep sound and no rasp. With the Takeda intake up front it's pretty insane when I hammer it

Those on are opposite spectrums as far as loudness growl goes, Tanabe being on the lighter side and JoeZ on the louder

Adding any midpipe will take it to a whole other level even with a quieter axle back

Yeah I'm torn between the two right now. Part of me likes the loud sometimes but I also want my car to be quiet. Plus both are around the same price (I would do a custom quad tips mod on the JOE Z).

Tanabe is definitely cheaper. PM me for pricing.

Any idea if the AWD models will have more options to choose from for a full catback exhaust in the future?

I had been waiting for the ARK AWD exhaust for a while, but since it wont be out until after summer I went with the Tanabe. The Tanabe sounds really nice, not to loud but also has a nice growl, and the build quality is top notch. I will likely switch out to the ARK full exhaust come spring next year.

That's awesome. I just decided to buy the Tanabe and the APEXi controller. I've been waiting for the ARK as well but its too far off.

Glad you like the Tanabe and its great to have some confirmation!

Try doing a resonator delete and replace it with an x pipe. A lot cheaper and you'll get better air flow and a really nice growl! Love it on my GS
