Rear Defrost and remote start

So...I leave the front and rear defrost ON when I turn off the ignition but when I use the remote start only the front defrost comes on...annoying as of course the rear window remains frosted over...does anyone know a way around this? Any way to have the rear defroster come on when I remote start? Thanks

Rear defroster will always turn off when the ignition is turned off. The front is part of the AC system and always stays in the same position when stopped and then started.

Thx..I was hoping that wasn't the case. Disappointing.oh well at least the front will clear, which I suppose is more useful! Thx again
