Default Vanity plates anyone?

Just curious if anyone ordered vanity plates for their RC.

I'll start.....

Plate: DAWNS RC
Meaning: In this case, pretty obvious.

I may get my plate before I get my RC, but I'll be ready.

I found that after a while I get tired of my personalized plates. They become less amusing, and I rather be less visible, and more incognito. Also, what may be cleaver and personal to the owner means nothing to others, especially strangers. At any rate, vanity plates are fine, because they can be fun, give your ride individuality, and are not permanent therefore easily changed.

Vanity plates are useless. Most of the time, nobody has any clue what the plates mean or even notice it. The only time they'll notice or remember it is when you make a mistake (I.e., cut someone off) while driving and might do something regrettable to your car while parked. Kinda makes your car standout in a bad way. Not to mention the fees to keep it, complete waste of money IMO.

Sorry to those who have vanity plates...

I have Veteran plates, and a portion of my $25 plate fee goes to Veteran organizations in AZ. That says it all.

I have seen a few around where I live such as "Pure AU" and "AU One". I guess they think very highly of themselves. hehe!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my Arkansas Sheriff's tag. People tend to not tailgate me anymore

I have custom plates. I like them so far. It's related to my air system.

In CA vanity plates are ridiculous. I can't justify the cost of the $400 registration to begin with plus the $50 for custom letters. Then there's if you want a custom backdrop add another $50. This is on top of your registration EVERY year. Oh no.... if it wasn't for the fact it's a reoccurring fee for the personalized plates I'd do it. But not every year for nothing. I can understand the initial cost to make it, that's about it. In most other states I'm sure it's a 1 time fee. CA get on board....

Sometimes (when I actually care), I have quite a time trying to figure out what a personalized plate means. Saw a plate the other day, "PPNICHI". I figured it must be a Urologist named Nicholas.
