Default which photoshop to get?
hey guys, just a quick question about photoshop. i plan on getting this software in the near future since i will be getting a DSLR. my question is, which version should i go for? i use windows vista by the way. since i am a beginner, i have no idea on which one to get. all the help is greatly appreaciated.

I don't know if this against the rules, but I didn't buy mine lol. Anyway, I always update to the newest, I think you'll be fine with any Photoshop CS. Mine is CS4 btw.

They are almost the same IMO (from the way I use), every new version gets more organized.

They are all the same, I had CS3, then CS4, but there is one thign i didnt like about CS4 is that tap thing it pisses me off sometimes i need to go back and forth between each tab

so which one is better, CS3 or CS4? would these programs allow me to resize my pictures without losing the quality? sorry for all the questions.

Photoshop from the 90s resizes pictures without losing the quality lol.

What exactly do you want from photoshop?

Get anything, you'll be fine. The newer the better, not much of a difference though. I just don't know how much they cost.

thanks, i think i'll just go with CS4. there's a place here in Iraq where they might have it. and i can get them really cheap.

CS4 runs better faster than CS3 does. Please do promote illegal activity, just use GIMP if you can't purchase it legally.

GIMP is a photo editing software. often compared to photoshop, but its free.
