3IS HPS Joe Z style pipe doesn't work with the 2IS
FYI
I purchased the the 3IS intake NON F SPORT just to try it out. Everything works except the REDUCER to mate the top cover to the pipe.
It comes with a 3.125" to 3.00" reducer, and a T- clamp to match the offset. The clamp itself is too large to make a good seal. So I had to use a makeshift gasket to help seal the larger opening to secure the pipe, and top cover on.
I placed an order from HPS for the correct 3.00" to 3.00" silicone sleeve. Also the matching clamp.
If you've owned the JOE Z pipe before you see it comes with the proper 3 inch sleeves.
So just a heads up if anyone thinking of purchasing the HPS pipe from the 3IS.
Once I receive the other sleeve I'll post pics of what I did to make it work for now.
