Deep tone exhaust?
#16
At idle yes, it cannot be heard inside the car but if you're outside at the back it has a low purr. Certainly not the same rumble you get from a V8, and yeah it would be nice to have a bit more. Loudest while driving around 2-3K, but once you hit 4K the engine and transmission are louder. I have yet to give it a real good run, but it does sound nice from the inside when wound up.

At cold start-up it is lawnmower brash, but then settles down after a few seconds to just loudish but a decent tone. Depending on temperature it lowers the tone until soon the engine can be heard above it even when standing at the back of the car.

But what I mean is 4k while driving sounds better and you hear more than just 4k in park.
Know what I mean?
Mine too though, intake now kicks in and over powers exhaust at 3k then exhaust you hear really well at 4k. I have Invidia axle back though.

Ill see if I can post sometime in the next week a good comparison video. Didnt mean to get off topic I just want to see more of those. 2d vs 3d is a good metaphor.

Hi all,
I’m pretty pedantic when it came to exhaust tone.. so please check out my combo mind you the system sounds even better in real life as I’m sure my iPhone 6 hasn’t got full sound bandwidth in recording mode, but I’m sure you’ll get a good idea..

Tanabe Exhaust is axel-back only. But you can use with the APEXi N1-X Evolution Extreme Mid-Pipes or INVIDIA Mid-pipes.

Axle back only.
We usually pair it with the Invidia midpipe or Apexi midpipe!
