Subtle but noticeable exhaust options
After hours of research and watching all the available youtube clips of various exhausts I have narrowed it down 2 main options:
1. ppe headers + joe z cat back
2. ppe headers + tanabe
3. open to other options and opinions
4. (question) what is a fair expected price for the ppe header install? Located in VA/MD/DC area in case you all know somebody.
Live in a state with visual only inspection so I'd rather not tamper with a midpipes (at least just not yet). Do NOT want anything with drone or "ricer" sounding at all. Low and deep is my style. This is my first post, I've been lurking for about a month, it feels good to finally be a part of this community, picking up my baby Saturday with 25k miles on her ('08 350 dark carbon/grey).

I live in Richmond as well. I have the Tsudo axleback which is zero rasp and deep. I just don’t know if they’re made any more. I know a mechanic in the Ashland area who does most of our VA Lexus club member’s cars in the area. If you’re on FB hit us up. He has installed two sets of ppe headers this past month on two different ISFs and is more than fair on price. Also , the tanabe is pretty quiet but maybe the headers will open it up. If you want to hear some 2is exhausts in person , come out to the Japanese Classics open house ( and our corresponding premeet).

Don't even have the car yet and already looking at upgrades! Love it!
I have a Fujita intake and PPE headers. To me, this is plenty enough "noise" to satisfy me. This obviously leaves the factory mid pipe and exhaust; but with the roar of that intake and the headers make me happy as I daily my IS350.
