Default VSS Need to fake out! For cd009 tranny swap

I just completed a CD009 swap on my 2001 gs430 and now I'm trying to fix all the codes most I've delt with but the tranny vss sensors
have become a major pain! Has anyone found a way to simulate them or found a reluctor ring and it mount to the drive shaft or diff or some
where else to use them? Ive search the forum to no help. Any input would be appreciated.

All of this information is on the forums...you just need to search as it has been covered many many times.

I searched for manual swap and this was the first result:

This should get you started. Searching is not hard.

Also based on other threads the vehicle speed is based off the ABS sensors not the transmission

That is somewhat true speedometer and odometer comes from ABS sensors fuel consumption how many miles on a tank and torque converter lockup come from the VSS sensors on the transmission.

You're right searching is not hard. What you find is not necessarily what you need. So it is good to ask questions, I thought that's what a forum is for. I didn't know it was a database to spend hours going through. Guess I'm wrong. Sorry.

some of us grow tired of answering the same ?'s weekly especially ones that can easily be found. You're a 7 year member you know how to search (although with this particular issue i don't think you will find the answer no matter how much you search)

although this may help, check post # 36

Despite what others say, the search function on forums in general can be vague at best. Specific issues like yours can be extremely hard to find answers for. This one in particular hasn’t been addressed very definitively.

Theres a Facebook group called Toyota Security ECU or something like that. Yury Baranov is the head and he sells an emulator that will fake the signal from the VSS and solenoids.
