Performance Gains
I have 2009 IS 350. How much horsepower gain can you get from swapping out the stock exhaust manifold and cats to magnaflow performance exhaust manifold (headers) and cats

Ide say go with PPE headers but you’re in Ca. They do make a catted version but won’t net the same hp increase. If you want to see what a 3.5 can do , hit up RRracing’s website and look at their 3is with headers , csrback and tune. Quite impressive indeed. But I’m not sure many people run the magnaflo. Or even if those are real headers.....

I have to say one thing; the PPE folks have NOT responded to a simple email asking about the size of the primary tube ID and IF there is an IS250 header with a smaller primary ID. Its Been A Month!!!! The secondary point being bigger is not always better for a DD that could pick up some torque down low if indeed the headers are oversized. Adding to that, near equal length primaries are of little value compared to the collector length so paying all that may not be the best use of money compared to a tune.
That said, try the fleabay $150 headers and see what happens.... lol
