2017 Apexi Catback

Thanks to the guys at Meraki picked up an Apexi Catback, few pics and sounds clips. Not too bad on the drone, pretty loud when the windows are down around 2-3k rpm.

mine should be coming in this week! so excited, is it pretty loud in person, compared to the ARK system

Its pretty loud, I had a mazdaspeed3 with a catless midpipe and cat back, I’d say it’s much louder, especially in cabin.

Installing an Apexi mid-pipe on my 14' in a few weeks. Coupled with the F-sport axle back.

Great looking axle back, unfortunately was a bit too loud for me and the wife. Went back to stock, will be going up for sale at a 30% discount once I reach my 30 post requirement.

Any 200t sound clips? Really interested to hear a few different systems. I've only heard the Tanabe online and the F-sport in person.

could you do a vid inside the cabin on a cold start & driving if that’s possible?

One is a cold start and the other includes some driving. It gets pretty loud on a cold start but does quiet down to almost a stock level at idle. The cabin drone is not picked up by a mic, but in person it is noticeable at around 2k.

yea i’ve watched those, but it’s the axleback not the catback system, i’m certain the catback is louder in both situations

Yes. Same thing as the axle back, midpipe is just different.
