Default 2006 Lexus IS250 VSC, PCS, Brake/ABS light?

Hello everybody,

My VSC, PCS, ABS, Brake lights randomly pop up when I'm driving. Doesn't pop up all the time but when it does, my car still runs perfectly fine. They disappear when you turn off the engine and turn it back on again. They'll appear again at random times.

I have read that most people get VSC and check engine lights come on, causing everything to power off and totaling the engine that could cost up to $8000 to replace at the dealership. However, in my case I don't get the check engine light.

Does anyone else on these forums own an IS250 and gets the VSC, PCS, ABS, and Brake lights? Have and of you found solutions to fix the problem?

Thanks guys! Check VSC, PCS, ABS, Brake Lights. No Check Engine light.

Did you have any suspension work done lately? It could be maybe a bad connection on one of the wheel speed sensors.

I have a 2007 IS250 and have had the check VSC light go on and off for the past 6 years (I've owned it for 8 years). Dealership has never found the reason why it comes on and I haven't really been able to link it to a problem. Sometimes when it has come on I have found that I have acceleration issues, but that goes away after shutting the car off and restarting. Yet eventually a few months down the road happens again. Have done repairs to fix this yet nothing has fixed the problem. You could possibly have bad connection like MikeFig82 mentioned. Have you had a mechanic look at it?

Had my shop run diagnostics and they determined that I needed a new brake light switch... No problems since.
I'm having a similar issue. What's a brake light switch?

I'm having the same issue. I'm thinking its an electrical issue. Help please.

Best bet is to get a scan tool that can read ABS codes.
