GS480 Stick Shift For Cheap Asses!

I put the hood on to check out clearance one last time. I tried fitting the 3 bolt throttle upside down to get as much clearance as possible, but it just lightly touches the hood. There is enough space with the 4 bolt, so im committed there now. I bought a diesel 4" muffler for my turbo supra which came with a big stainless 4" down pipe with a nice 90 bend on one end. I think it's going to make a perfect cold air intake, I'll post about that if it works out.
Also have my fuel line figured out, i cut the steel collars off both Toyota and gm fittings. Inside, perfectly flared barbs to connect to 👍

Little by little! There's SO many little piddly details to take care of in a swap. But every one is important.
So this morning i finished up my pressure side power steering line. Just brazed on the Toyota banjo to the 3/8 gm steel line. That's probably my nicest line yet.
Here's a quick glimpse of the idea for my cold air intake. It started out as a downpipe back for a 2005 duramax. Yes, i have a new filter on order, that one is just for mockup purposes

Thank you! Im trying to do a little better install this time around. If i wasn't so broke already I'd change the power steering and alternator around to car stuff. Maybe down the road.
Little progress here and there, have wiring, fluids, shifter, air intake, rad hoses, and re wiring fuel pump left to go.
Exhaust done
Hangs down a little bit, meh. I don't do lowered cars anymore
Tucked in with its blanky
Fuel line routing
Power steering much cleaner than last time
Aluminum coil brackets
These should dress up the engine bay a little bit

I might try and make the small 3 bolt TB work at first. There's a possibility my 2002 harness can run a larger 4 bolt, but idk if i can afford an X Link or a different TB right now. After final fitment theres JUST a smidge of space between hood and TB.
Tight between belt drive, radiator, and hood
Amazon air filter

This is the later model truck manifold, commonly referred to as TBSS manifold. Better flowing from top to bottom, but that throttle does try and point up more than the old one. The coupler i bought is probably not going to be here til the weekend, it was not a prime purchase 🤬
So, we don't know til we know!

Car is turn key. It didn't actually run but she pops and sputters lol. I previously tried running my turbo supra on this pcm, so I'm 90 percent sure it thinks it's commanding 210lb injectors and not running because of that.
Man it feels good to even get this close. That sense of accomplishment after swapping something is my drug. I frigging love it.
Absolute **** show right now, but should look nice when finished
Here's the junk i didn't need in the truck wiring. I think i took a pound of copper out of my harness lol
Gotta have cruise working
Loki is cold blooded. It's only 46 out 🤷*♂️

We got a runner!
Just had to upload the original tune and she starts right up. Got a pretty nasty exhaust leak though, driver side header flange. Ordered some fancy gaskets, but in the meantime I'll take the header out and see if i can straighten it out. The leak caused a false lean condition, adding fuel to an oxygen rich header and backfires like a ****!
