Default Good resonator for IS350?

I put on an F-Sport exhaust and wanted it a bit louder, so I tried out a resonator delete. It's plenty loud now, but when I accelerate harder, it gets a sort of raspy tone I don't really like.

Is there a good resonator I can put on for the IS350 that will still keep things kinda loud but give the exhaust a nicer tone?

From what I've learned from my previous cars, magnaflow is a good brand to start off with on building custom exhaust. On my last car, I used the longest length magnaflow resonator to eliminate rasp. Just forgot what the part no it was.

Invidia mid pipe would be what your looking for, I'm pretty sure it would pair well with the F sport exhaust

The Invidia midpipe will make it incredibly raspy, I don't recommend that at all.
If you want to go bolt-on the Megan will be much smoother sounding.

As for custom, I've used Vibrant in the past and have had good results.
Also a ton of BMW guys use AERO resonators and love them. BMW's are known for being raspy so it's somthing to check in to.

I had a true dual setup and used two Wesdon Resonators (About $70 each) and they cleared up all of my rasp! Looked like quality metal and welding as well. I have the two of them still if you're interested I could cut them off. (I changed set ups completely.)

you are right, did my research and now I'm afraid of even going mid pipe. Wanted a little more tone, the F sport seems to go silent in certain spots. Looking for alternative set up such as resonator swap, but don't want to cut up oem exhaust.

I'm having the Vibrant 1141 2.5" Ultra Quiet resonator installed on my IS350AWD today actually. I have the F-Sport axle back exhaust and F-sport intake as well. I'll come back here in about a week or so (after the break-in) to let you know how that sounds if you're still interested to know. I wanted the exact same thing as you did and read a lot of good things about this resonator. If after this, I still don't feel it's at the tone and sound level I like, I am replacing the stock secondary cats with two Flowmaster 2230125 223 Series 2.5" cats.
