Question.

Installed the Injen intake today, and noticed that the middle bolt (M6 bolt with the fender washer) that holds the intake to the vibration mount is slightly in the way of the engine cover. Anyone else notice this? I test drove for a bit after installing, and re-checked the engine bay to make sure everything was clamped tightly. I noticed that the engine cover had a chip where the bolt is touching it.

Was wondering if that is something that Injen couldn't help..

Also, is this intake not C.A.R.B. legal? I was under the assumption that it would be.. but it doesn't have the certification.
Does that mean I need to take it off every time I go to the dealer for service? (I have a lease).

Hopefully someone can chime in about the bolt.

Injen is working on the CARB certification right now. You do NOT need to take the intake off every time you go to the dealership. It is not something they will decline warranty for.

Default Is200t injen intake for sale

I'm selling my IS200t Injen Intake. I've had it for about 2 days now. The turbo spool is a little too loud for my liking. I'm selling it for $300 plus $30 shipping. Please message me for more info.

Some driving notes after 3 days :

-. In general, the engine bay noises are louder
-. The intake sound is noticeable from atmospheric pressure and up
-. Intake really gets loud past 7.5 psi (the intake pressure? not the turbo psi... a bit confused about the two, but the big dial to the top)
-. I wish Injen had a couple more fasteners on the intake, since it seems to vibrate and rattle quite a bit (not as secure as OEM air box)

Otherwise, it sounds like a jet even with all windows up, and I've been enjoying it so far.
Will give another update, and hopefully even a video in a week or so.

Hello Everyone,

I recently bought the Injen air intake for my 2016 Lexus IS200t. I have decided to sell it as I am concerned about voiding my warranty. The intake is still packed in box and is untouched!

Interested? PM me for details.

You should be good man, it will only be a problem if it causes a direct problem/correlation with something going wrong for it to void warranty. They can't void suspension for doing exhaust etc

The thing is i called up 5 different Lexus dealerships talk to different people and ALL of them told me that they would find a way to put it on the air intake if something goes wrong and which will indirectly void the warranty. So im very skeptical about it.

Reinstall the stock intake before you take it in for service/warranty work
