Any update on this intake? Just got an IS200 a few weeks ago and I'd love to install one of these, the sound clip of the RC sounds awesome also!

Hi guys. I'm new to the modding scene... and am interested in the Injen Cold Air Intake.
Saw the short clip and I'm honestly amazed that the IS200t can sound like that.

Can I install the Injen Cold Air Intake without irreversible modifications?
That is, do I need to modify any other parts to fit the new intake?

I ask because I'm leasing my car, and haven't decided yet if I will keep it afterwards.

 

I believe we are already talking but yeah!!

Best news I've heard this week!

 

The Injen intake has been officially released and I spoke with Injen directly in person and I am purchasing all they have in their inventory, which is only 5 at the moment. These 5 intakes I can ship out as soon as Tuesday. If you want to wait or want a laser black finish, it will take 7 days +. Pricing is not out yet, but I will find out Monday morning and will be accepting payment via cash, credit card, and Paypal. Two questions :

1. Anyone know if this is a dry filter?
2. Will this intake require a tune?

 

Car sounds great, does the IS200t use a diverter or recirculating valve?

That would be a perfect upgrade to compliment the intake, and would give the vehicle a true BOV sound.
