Default Boost awd 250 or upgrade to 350

Hey guys need some opinions. Seeing all these supercharger kits for sale has me thinking... do I boost my current awd 250 or upgrade to a 350 and eventually boost that? As u all know the 250 is just too slow and I definitely wish I had done more homework before purchasing one. Still love the car and it's almost fast enough but just need a little extra hp.
Thanks in adance. Either way I'll be a long time 2is owner.

It'll mostly cost you more to boost/maintain than what an IS350 is worth over a IS250 (I think the difference is roughly 5k between the 2 models). Plus, the boosted IS250 wouldn't be as reliable as the NA 350. 2 different worlds for 2 different purposes my friend!

Mine isn't slow in town...when in sport mode, can't complain. Would I go for a 350? Yes, but that wouldn't be smart since I'd lose some $ in the trade.

1) Just trade for a 350. Cost difference isnt that much with the used 2IS's these days

2) Boosted 2IS is very reliable. I've never had any troubles.

But if you just want to drive a modded/boosted car more than anything, you wouldnt regret boosting the 250.

Thanks Heyarms I've admired your car now for a while and aduskator thanks for the opinions. I love the idea of boosting my current awd 250 but I think I'm going the trade in rout especially to get into a rwd IS. I'm definitely still eyeing the kits for sale for my next car tho.

If you don't need AWD, don't buy one We tend to have harsh winters around here... Would have been stupid to buy a RWD when we have 4 months of crap weather but I would definitively get one for a summer-only car!

As fun as boost may be, wouldn't a boosted IS250 still be slower than an IS350? Since you can't tune them and all..?

I would personally just get a 350 or something with more modding potential if I were you.

Get in contact with RR Racing, they cracked the ISF ECU, they'll be working on cracking the rest of the ECU's for our platforms! OP, you'll have other options soon!
