yes I have headers, not sure what you mean by "intake" since the car is supercharged, and yes I have 2 1/2 inch exhaust. At first I was surprised by the numbers but than thought about it and looked into what factory gs430's make at the wheels (240). I'd say that 330 to the wheels is a very nice jump in power. And thats only five psi. how much psi does it take for a 2jzgte to make 330 to the wheels? If you've followed any of my threads I'm sure your aware that I don't stop. More will probably follow soon.

I'm more interested in how that tranny holds up. I'd love to see somebody make them stronger in a simple way.

What exactly do they do to the valve body when you "Upgrade the valve body" ?

I know Swift offers a valve body upgrade but you send them one to modify.

what brand headers? i dunno..... wasnt really thinking although you could put a SRT inline on that and probably get some HP. build a head and opening the head up would also free a lot of power

either way i would take 330 to the wheels

The process is to enlarge the passages of the valve body where the transmission fluid flows.
This only firms up your shift. Does not help with reliability when more power is introduced.

From what I have read its the synchro gears\rings that will give out when you have right around 400\450 HP.

TSI Jeff and TT pimp have some knowledge of the limits of the a650.

Great build badblackgs!! Your thread is always on my list to read. I have a stock 430 with suspension mods. I recently had a fuel evap check engine code pop up. Found a soft hose unhooked from a hard line that goes back to the charcoal canister. That made me think of your build. If you are running boost wouldn't that jack up your evap system, since it works off of vacuum?

the evap lines are connect to the engine vacuum which is after the throttle body. so in my case I use the vacuum ports that come built into the supercharger. no issues. if your evap line is coming off over on the drivers side where the rubber goes onto the metal hard line, than your driv. side engine mount is bad and allowing the engine to lift up and yank that hose off.

Much more complicated than that.

I know.. I was giving the ELI5 explanation.
