Default Just purchased 2000 GS300. Performance upgrades advice?

Hi guys. New here so here we go. I just picked up a mint 2000 GS300 with only 60k miles. They already did the timing belt. That's how well kept it was. I just put 20" off set niche rims on. I have purchased a ram air intake and megan m1 mufflers. Any other basic performance upgrades? She is just so slow compared to what I'm used to. Don't get me wrong I love her! Just would like more power if I can get it for reasonable $$
Thanks guys for any advice.

welcome to CL...

remember this is a 4000 lb car... and your heavy 20's probably didn't help... if you already ordered the intake and exhaust, you basically need headers to complete the bolt-ons for airflow... if that isn't enough for you, you will need to turbo the car... a mild turbo can easily get you to 300hp which puts you on par to the v8 GS4 model... otherwise there is always nitrous...

Default That's about what I was thinking.

I know the wheels were a set back. Couldn't resist. I have read that it can be hard to turbo these engines? If not any turbo kit suggestions? I see alot of people talking about the supra engine swap but not gonna happen here. To big of a project. Thanks for your input!

there are plenty of NA-T builds... just look in the builds threads... if you are trying to keep everything conservative and safe, try turbokits.com

Great purchase, I just acquired a 2000 GS300 with 215k so having one that mint is incredible! Sounds like we are in the same boat as I am also looking for performance upgrades for my car; I will have more items to replace or repair but the hard will make it great... Please keep updating as you move through your stages of upgrade, I would love to see how your GS turns out.
