Default My EViL GS3 2jzgte vvti transplant

So I really don't post much on here but decided to share my project with everyone & hoping to also gain some extra knowledge to others build. Fortunately I knew the high mileage was going to benefit me at 224k & my motor went into limp mode so I decided to say eff it said it was my time to do the swap. Drained all fluids, pulled out hoses, exhaust manifold & disconnected all the plugs & radiator.

I'm on the last stage. Searching for a jzs161 fuel pump assembly for the right price. Been reading a lot of build threads to get an idea on how to get this last part done. I thought about drilling & adding a nipple with a return line with the 255 walbro pump. I don't want to mess this part up either. Sad thing is I can only work on the car on my days off so I'm hoping to get this part done before I slap the new motor in.

Default Update 2022

So a lot has happened since I started my project. I acquired my buddies 98 GS300 after his passing, bought a Tundra, new car trailer & picked up a 54 Pontiac Chieftain in Arizona while visiting family in Tucson, took my kids to meet Dan Burkett at his old shop here in Cali before leaving to Florida, picked up a Pro128 standalone ECU with a patch harness, & got some much finishing touches left with the exhaust. Still much more work to be done but I occasionally update more often in my Instagram. Enjoy!
