Default Anyone Running PPE Headers now

As the title states....

I know one or two had PPEs on a 3G IS. Wondering if more pulled the plug and if so what install costs. Likewise, I would look like too see what impressions people have over time.

Current setup is tekdata intake and full joez cat back for my AWD F Sport. It's loud. Real loud at WOT. I'm wondering what a header will do to sound and drone. As well, I don't want to add rasp

Thanks

Is this the catless one? If so, it'll add rasp, volume, and drone. Almost certainly.

Coincidentally my name is Josh too. Do you mind sharing the install cost. Seems like the way I want the headers they are almost 1100 buck as is. Then the install. But on a 350 with my mods, I know ill gain close to 16-20WHP ( tekdata intake, full Joe-Z Cat Back ) and Apexi Smart Accel is ordered.

What are the actual gains from these headers?

What's the details on the accelerate thing. Work good. Give you any gains or is it just throttle senestivity.

Also, any good gains on the headers with a f sport intake and f sport exhaust.

PPE claims 16 WHP and Id have to assume a lot of low end tq comes back to the car. Again, the headers are 1100 bucks with the coating etc. Id have to assume that if you have an intake and exhaust you'll get the max gains due to a very well breathing engine. My last G37s had intake ( manifold and ram air - stillen ) high flow cat and a full cat back. That cas was dyno ~332 WHP plus or minus on UpRev. Mind you the tune added a lot!!

Due to lack of tuning, I think the additional add of the header is the only way to max out the performance. If a real supercharger kit come out, Id buy it.

RE accel module - Apexi is my choice due to the dummy switch replacement and having that sleeper / stock look. I've always been about OEM plus. As well, I dont want that big LED module cluttering up the nice inside of the car. Thats just me, but indeed it looks like a cool device.

I had PPE headers on my isf. Honestly I wouldn't and won't be installing headers again. They are fine quality but it's only a matter of time before they cause issues. I had an A/F sensor go on bank 1, suspected exhaust issue but wasn't confirmed. Regardless I wouldn't bother.

Wouldn't ppe help you out if their product caused the failure? Seems odd.

On Anither note: I ordered the Apexi throttle controller and it should be here Thursday. Seems like most have said with Mods, it's enjoyable. I'll provide a full write up once installed.

Default newb question...

I never bought headers for my previous is, but now looking into these ppe headers but ran into something. there are two types of collectors: parallel and spike. from what I've read, it's supposedly better to have a spike merge because the air flow is supposed to be smoother. but when you look at pricing, the parallel merge costs more. am I missing something here or did I misunderstand facts? can someone please school me on this?

thanks
