f-sport exhaust on 3IS350 vs 2IS350 sound quieter?
hey guys, not sure if it was brought up before, but I just recently went from a 2010 350 to 2015 350, and the f-sport exhaust for some reason sounds a bit quieter on the new 2015.
Is this just because its new vs my old one being nearly 100k miles? or is it actually quieter? I do not have actual numbers or db, but with all the windows down and driving it just seems like the new 2015 is very subtle (at least it still has a little bit of a nice deep tone, but just not as loud).
I also have fitted both cars with injen short ram intakes, same exact model fits both gens, just fyi.
thanks, looking forward to hearing if any of you guys have felt similar

i dont remember any drone in my 2IS, it was just loud when u wanted to hit it. the new one just feels so quiet, even when i floor it, it doesnt really excite me like it use to
oh well, at least the new exhaust looks better and is true dual unlike the fake dual of the 2IS. I also hated the fact on my 2IS the passenger side tip would get dirty and driver side wouldnt because its a dummy. The 3IS is alot more balanced from the rear

Guyz this exhaust SHOULD have been coming with the car as stock exhaust, OEM exhaust is not loud/obnoxious and without drone as all OEM exhausts to keep the car comfortable yet gives a subtle sound... it's Lexus mistake that it's sold as an aftermarket accessory like all the other brands of exhausts.
There is a huge difference between the stock exhaust that came with the IS Fsport and the Fsport exhaust, there definitely is a lovely rumble when you push it and when you don't it's quiet but you can still feel it which is perfect for a comfortable highway drive for example.
