thank you I’ve been doing research back and forth with my gs more hp / torque , I figured drop a bigger engine which would be the 4.7 from the tundra, I’ve seen on YouTube someone dropped an intake manifold from the Tundra, it sounds good but have not seen any stats on performance wise

or just use the 4.7 rotating assembly and make a stroker out if the 1uz block so then you're not stuck with iron.

its 1.5mm difference in stroke. tundra crank is not forged acoorsing to various sources. the rods are the same length but the piston crown is 1.5mm taller than the gs4 piston

The car belongs to me. Sorry about the reply. The trd sc drops in place of the intake manifold. I hd to trim a couple little pieces of metal off the head for clearance. Nothing much u just need an extra 1/2 to 3/4" for it to drop in place. Everything pretty much hook up. The belt was a little bit of a pain to find the right size bcaz the gs4 block deck is shorter than the 4.7. After a few trips i found 1 to fit. I tried using the trd piggyback just to see if it would start but it didnt so i havent wired in the 9th injector yet. Right now im running 4 to 5 lbs of boost.

Does anyone know what S/C would go well with a 1UZ? Or what turbo? How much power can a stock block hold. I read on here it can hold up to 400hp/ 6psi.. I’m new to all this so excuse me if I don’t make any sense..

Nothing off the shelf is just going to work. How much power the engine can hold depends on the year, older engines (that were never in the GS) have thicker rods and those are the weakest link from the factory. Before you even think about this do you have $10k in the bank because unless you have to tools and knowledge to do everything yourself, forced induction very far from cheap
