Default What intake should I get for my 2017 IS200t?

I've been searching around and have mostly only heard about the Injen intakes but want to expand my options before I take the leap. Trying to make the purchase tonight so please let me know. Thanks in advance for the help!

Many times, you would need to ecu tune your car after installing an intake on a turbo vehicles. Or it would just run like crap.

i would go with a HPS intake pipe and K&N drop in filter since its quiet and should provide more air to the turbo.

Yea tuning the ECU (re flash) would void the warranty, but companies like TTI include the tools so it can be reversed before you take the car in for any major warranty repair. You can also go with a piggyback tune which is a simple plug and play but the performance gains would not be as much as a reflash. If you install an intake I would advise taking it off before taking the car for any dealer maintenance or repairs just to be safe.

Injen or HPS!

Injen has been out for longer, but HPS has been very popular right now.

i like it. much bigger, the material has some insulating value so the air has to be cooler than going through a steel or thinner plastic intake.

Yup that's the exact reason why I decided to get it. Larger diameter pipe so better air flow for the turbo and still quiet by utilizing the stock air box.

Do you get more water by attaching a 2" hose to a 1" hose?
Better air flow, but I know nothing so thanks for the lesson.

These are the results according to HPS. From my experience so far it feels a bit more responsive and keeps the quietness that i like.
